What is a Group

A Group is just a list of users that you can add to your team without having to search for them every time. Not only that, you can also promote one or more group users to admin, which will allow them to manage your group as well as use your group to add users to teams. You can access groups from the user settings screen if you are a premium member or assigned as an admin to a group by a premium member. You cannot create new groups if you are not a premium member even if you have access to the screen.
